Enjoy tempting tastings of local cheese each day. Our menu will feature “Trio of Wensleydale Cheese & Homemade Fruitcake”, our special Festival “Local Cheese & Charcuterie Platter”, Dale End Mac n Cheese, Wensleydale Quiche and much more…..
Look out for cheesey bites and themed dishes in local cafes and restaurants, demos using local produce, cookery courses, dining experiences, Yorkshire gin and ales, specially created dairy ice creams and sorbets, jams, jellies and chutneys, locally-reared meat on menus, and the chance to meet the makers.
The Festival celebrates the incredible produce of the Dales – cheese very much included! – with local businesses throughout the National Park hosting their own special events, menus and tastings to mark the occasion. One weekend may not be long enough to pack in everything delicious that the Dales has to offer, but we’re going to give it a good try.
