Town End Farm Cottages
Superbly situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, as seen in The Dales ITV1 on Mondays at 8pm, with long distance views towards Malham Cove, our three properties,Stable Cottage, Cove View and The Byre, form part of a barn conversion dating back to the 1800s. Exposed stonework, beams and arches are a feature in their well furnished interiors. They are set on our own working farm (please keep dogs on a lead at all times). surrounded by rolling countryside, each forms an ideal base for outdoor enthusiasts with a number of stunning walks on the doorstep.
The historic market towns of Skipton and Settle are a 15 minute drive away; Skipton with its castle, cobbled streets, ducks and canal boats and Settle with its magnificent Folly building and access to the famous Settle - Carlisle railway. Or just stay local and walk or take a trip to Malham to see up close the stunning scenery of Malham Cove and Gordale Scar.
With their own separate gardens complete with barbecue equipment and garden furniture, the cottages can be booked together to accommodate larger groups wishing to holiday together, yet retain their independence. Surrounded by rolling countryside, each forms an ideal base for outdoor enthusiasts with a number of stunning walks on the doorstep.
Stable Cottage and Cove View
Stable Cottage and Cove View each sleep 6 people (one ensuite bedroom with king size bed; two further bedrooms - one with a double bed and one with twin beds; and a house bathroom with spa bath.) Cove View has an additional downstairs wet room, fully equipped for wheelchair access.
The Byre
The Byre situated down a flight of 17 stone steps, sleeps 4 people (one ensuite bedroom with king size bed and one twin room and house bathroom with spa bath).
All cottages have spacious living accommodation with an electric ‘log burner’ effect fire, a radio/CD player and TV with DVD player. The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge with small freezer compartment above, microwave oven and a full size oven and hob.
The rental includes all heating, lighting, hot water, linen, duvets and towels.
A welcome pack of local produce is put into the cottage with our compliments. We welcome one well-behaved dog per property too, this can be stretched to two, if they're very well-behaved! Further produce can be purchased from the shop and there is ample parking.
